Here at The Station House, we aim to offer as much, to as many, as possible. That’s why you’ll not only find popular dishes like Steak and Kidney Pudding, or Sausages with bubble and squeak mash, but more avantagarde offerings such as twice baked Pork Belly with roasted root vegetables and a fondant potato, steamed fillet of Sea Bass on a bed of peas and leeks with saffron potatoes, or baked Cheese Souffle with a rocket and walnut salad. Not only that, but as our food is cooked to order with can usually accomodate customers with special dietary needs.

But that's just the start. We also offer a wide ranging breakfast menu, tasty, scrumptious cakes and pastries, a varied selection of sandwiches, baguettes, jacket potatoes and other light lunches, and being fully licensed, you can equally wash it all down with a glass of rose, a local beer or a cup of tea. Whatever takes your fancy, you're sure to find it here... at The Station House.

With seating for 70 people inside, we can also cater for large parties or group bookings. We have several options available to you, should you wish to book with us. To discuss your booking, please call us on 01425 40 24 68, where one of our staff will be only to happy to assist you.

Please note that during peak periods, we do get booked up very quickly, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Please note:

Coach party/group bookings for cream teas are welcome after 3.00pm by prior arrangement. Discounts available for 20 or more in the group.

Children are welcome provided they are well behaved at all times. Excessive shouting, screaming or running around will not be tolerated. We ask parents to maintain due diligence for health and safety reasons and not to spoil the enjoyment of our other guests.

Castleman's (open May to August in the evenings) operates a slightly different policy, where only children over the age of 5 are allowed. Full terms and conditions are available, please email us for details.

We accept most forms of payment, including credit/debit cards, with the exception of American Express and Diners Club. Please be aware that the minumum payment we can accept on credit/debit cards is £7.50. Cheques are no longer accepted except for coach party bookings.
